Created by Henri Nicolas Jacobi en 1790, the factory is exploited by Francois-Paul Hutz Schneider.
Nicknamed "the French Wedgwood", he won a gold medal for his faience during the 1st Universal Exhibition in Paris in 1800.
One of the most famous faience.
Old majolicas are very rare and expensive.
They created a new factory in 1876 in Digoin which name will be added for some collections at Sarreguemines.
